 Lawrence Edward Dugan Sr. Minister, Community leader, Mentor, Mental Health Counselor, Recovery Counselor, Recovery Talk show host, loving father, grandfather, uncle, and friend.  0n Sunday July 25, 2039  Bro. Lawrence went home to be with the Lord in Boston, Massachusetts.

He was 86. Bro. Lawrence was born in Pensacola, Florida on July, 25 1953 to the late Dillie Fletcher Dugan Jr. and the late Evangelist Alma Dugan Dickerson. Bro. Lawrence came to Boston in 1960 at the age of seven. He attended Boston public schools, and  Gordon Conwell school of theology . In 2010, Bro. Lawrence attend Cambridge College. In August 2013 he moved to Attleboro, Massachusetts, there he received his bachelor degree in Human Services. Bro. Lawrence grew up in Orchard Park housing Project Roxbury, Massachusetts, and in Dorchester, Massachusetts. He was an associate minister with Williams Temple Providence, Rhode Island, and Church of God in Christ in Boston and Unity Faith Tabernacle in Dorchester Massachusetts.
He was a mentor to people like his brother Rev. William E. Dickerson Sr. Pastor of Greater Love Tabernacle in Boston Massachusetts, and his Sister Rev. Carmen Harmon Pastor of Unity Faith Tabernacle in Dorchester Massachusetts, Apostle  Simeon  J. Frazier Sr., Entertainer Bobby Brown , members in the R+B group New Edition, Loren Roberts PhD,  and many more. Bro. Lawrence was more of a minister in his community than in a church, reaching out to where ever he saw a need.  Leading his community and friends to Jesus Christ. He was very funny and he loved to see people laugh. A very sharp dresser therefore it was requested for him to participate in fashion shows. He coordinated fashion shows in Boston, Springfield and New York City. He had a natural swag that ladies liked. Bro. Lawrence never appeared to be better than or looked down upon anyone. He had a heart of gold he would try to help anyone. And at times he would forget to help himself, battling with life on life terms. 
He was a Community activist in Boston and in Providence, Rhode Island. For fifty years he was involved in the 12 step programs of recovery, there he met a lot of friends. Bro. Lawrence was very creative, he was a blessing to the recovery community. Bro. Lawrence started a recovery talk show called Recovery Expressions. He loved to go jogging and go for long walks. He loved to meet people that were seeking treatment from their alcohol or drug problems. He loved to discuss the bible, and at times he act like he had all the answers. He loved to go on cruise ships. He would say being on a cruise ship must be the next best thing to heaven. Bro. Lawrence loved to travel and visit other cities, and at times he would share the word of God at Churches and with people on the streets. Lawrence, as his siblings would call him, loved to make them laugh by saying something funny about the other. He was a great cook, and at times he would boast about being the best cook in the family. 
In 2022, he won the Mega Millions and moved back to Boston and brought a mansion in Brookline. He would have sober parties every night. He said he wanted to go out with a bang.  He leaves to cherish his memories two sons Lawrence Edward Dugan Jr. Richard Darrell Walker. One granddaughter Niamya James. Sisters and Brothers Rev.Carmen Marcella Hardmon, Lynette Katrina Dugan, Rev. William Edward Dickerson Sr. Christopher Jerome Dugan. He is the Brother of Moses Louis Rucker aka Bubba (deceased)  Melvin Arron Steele Sr. (deceased) Dillie Fletcher Dugan Jr. aka Deke (deceased)  We loved him, but God loved him more.
